🌟Meet Torquay Location Manager Erica 🌟
Erica is originally from Michigan, USA. She has always had a love for sport and movement. Growing up, she competed in gymnastics and was also involved in skiing, swimming and diving, before taking up pole vaulting at college. Outside the gym, she enjoys horseback riding, travelling, sharing good food with friends and getting lost in an interesting book
She joined the Twisters team when Torquay first opened almost five years ago, starting out coaching Tiny Tornadoes a few days a week when her youngest started kinder. What began as a few hours quickly grew into a much bigger role, and today Erica is proud to be the Location Manager at Twisters Torquay.
Erica loves leading and mentoring her fantastic team of coaches, helping them create positive experiences for children and supporting Twisters’ mission to help kids Grow Through Movement. Erica still enjoys getting out on the floor to coach, and says the best part of her job is seeing the huge smiles and excitement on a child’s face when they achieve something they never thought they could do.

🎉 Northcote Parking Reminder
Another month, another friendly parking reminder!Our undercroft is a drop-off and pick-up zone only. If you’re planning to stay for longer than 5 minutes, we kindly ask that you park in one of the available parallel parks or on Beavers Road or the surrounding streets. With summer fast approaching, the warmer and longer days should make the short walk to and from the gym a little more enjoyable! If you’re parking on the street, don’t forget to pop on some sunscreen before making your way to and from the car. ☀️ During our daytime Tiny Tornadoes classes, parents are welcome to park in the undercroft car spaces. Thank you so much for your cooperation and for helping us keep the drop-off and pick-up process running smoothly for everyone! 💛

A Friendly Reminder: Gymnastics Fees
As we get closer to the end of the year, we understand that life can get busy! With so much happening, it can be easy to lose track of upcoming payments.We kindly ask all families to keep an eye on their invoice due dates and ensure payments are made on time to avoid any missed payments.If you need to update your payment details, you can easily do so by logging into your Parent Portal and updating your account information. Keeping Our Gyms Clean
At Twisters Gymnastics, we pride ourselves on providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all our gymnasts and families. We do our best as a team to ensure that the gym and common areas are cleaned frequently, and we kindly ask all families to help us maintain these spaces by picking up after themselves and ensuring any rubbish or belongings are taken with them when leaving. Whether you are using the viewing areas, waiting spaces or gym facilities, we appreciate everyone doing their part to keep these areas tidy and enjoyable for all families. By working together, we can ensure our gyms remain clean, welcoming and ready for every gymnast to enjoy 🌟

I chose Alby for Gymnast of the Month because of the energy her brings to the class. He alway comes in with a big smile on his face and brings such a positive attitude to everything he does, putting a smile on everyone’s face! He demonstrates our core value ‘Fun and Energy is Contagious’. He helps to make our class a fun and enjoyable environment. He has been doing very well lately- joining in the warm up and also recently passing his aqua level. He has make great progress over the past couple of months, which is great to see! He is always willing to gove things a go, overcoming his fears and working on his skills. It is so great to see him growing in confidence and skills and always bringing a positive attitude to class every week! Well done, Alby. Keep up the amazing work!
