Summertime parking – Northcote
A reminder that our undercroft is a drop off/pick up zone only, and our loading zone is not open for customer parking. If you intend to stay for longer than 5-minutes we kindly ask that you find a spot for your car in one of our parallel parks, or park on Beavers Road/surrounding streets. Melbourne summer is arriving quickly, daylight savings and warmer weather provides a great opportunity to park on surrounding streets and enjoy an afternoon walk down to Twisters! During our daytime Tiny Tornadoes classes, parents are welcome to park in the undercroft car spots. We really appreciate your cooperation.
The Mystery of the Missing Drink Bottle 🥤
With some very popular drink bottle brands on the market, we are finding that there are many gymnasts with the exact same bottle – most without a name on them! As you can imagine, this has lead to some unintentional sharing, bottles going home with the wrong child or difficulty locating a missing bottle. Please be sure to label your child’s bottle with their name or another identifying mark. Sharing might be caring… but not when it comes to drink bottles!
End-of-year Progress Checks
Our end of year Progress Checks are fast approaching – please make a note of these dates, Monday 17th November to Sunday 30th November.
Progress checks occur during your regular class time. You will see coaches on their phones/ipads checking the skills off in our system, Tribe, during class time. Once the fortnight is over, you can login and see which skills your athlete has achieved! Please note that you will not be able to book make up classes during this time as we want gymnasts and ninjas to be checked by their regular coaches. If you miss one or both classes during this fortnight, make-up progress checks will be available. Members will receive an email with makeup Progress Check information shortly.
We’re super excited for our Progress Checks this term! If you have any questions, please feel free to have a chat to your child’s coach or ask a member of our admin team!

Kira is such a joy to have in the gym and is a very deserving Gymnast of the Month! From the moment she walks through the door, she is smiling from ear to ear and spreading her positive energy to everyone around her. Kira never fails to make her classmates and coaches laugh and she truly reflects Twisters’ core value of Fun and Energy is Contagious! Showgrounds GoM | Siena
Here is why Coach Bridgit nominated Siena…
I chose Siena for gymnast of the month because from her very first class she has brought so much energy and smiles to the class. She always comes in with a big smile on her face and is ready to learn, she has been progressing really well and always taking on feedback and asking for help when she needs it, this is demonstrating our core value ‘Be Curious and Brave’. She works very hard on all of her skills whether it’s jumping on the trampoline or continuing to learn a handstand, even though she is one of the youngest in the gym she is always trying her best. Watching her grow every week and become more confident has been amazing

I have nominated Harper as she always comes into the gym with a big smile and a super positive attitude! She comes to class ready to learn new things and always brings her listening ears. Harper is a great example of our core value ‘we make our mates better’ as she loves helping me demonstrate activities and supporting others in remembering them. She also takes on feedback really well to improve and is brave enough to try new skills that might feel scary at first, which shows our core value ‘be curious and brave’. Harper is such a pleasure to coach, and I’m proud of how far she’s come in her gymnastics!
