2025 is just around the corner!
Twisters is working hard behind the scenes preparing our classes for next year. A very important email regarding your 2025 enrolment will be delivered to current members in the coming week, please ensure to keep an eye on your inbox. If you have not received an email from Twisters by the 1st of November, head to our front desk for some support or contact us via email to request we resend.
Refer to our iClassPro App reminder below for steps on how to log into your account and adjust your contact details if required.
End-of-year Progress Checks
Our end of year Progress Checks are fast approaching – please make a note of these dates, Monday 11th November to Sunday 24th November.
A new change has been made to our progress checks from this term onwards. Gymnasts and ninjas in the Badge and Stars, Tumbling and Ninja programs will no longer receive a poster and stickers for each level. If this is your child’s first progress check this will be unfamiliar to you, but for those of you who have received these in the past things will start to look a little different. From now on, if your child passes a level, you will receive an email with a certificate attached which you can download and print off at home if you wish. Have a look at this video to see how to access your child’s certificate if they pass a level.
Don’t worry, students will still receive their colour pin or headband upon completion of a level!
Progress checks occur during your regular class time. You will see coaches on their phones/ipads checking the skills off in the iClass pro app during class time. Once the fortnight is over, you can login and see which skills your athlete has achieved! Please note that you will not be able to book make up classes during this time as we want gymnasts and ninjas to be checked by their regular coaches. If you miss one or both classes during this fortnight, make-up progress checks will be available. Members will receive an email with makeup Progress Check information shortly.
We’re super excited for our Progress Checks this term! If you have any questions, please feel free to have a chat to your child’s coach or ask a member of our admin team!
Northcote Parking
Our undercroft is a drop off/pick up zone only, if you intend to stay for longer than 5-minutes we kindly ask that you find a spot for your car in one of our parallel parks, or park on Beavers Road/surrounding streets. Melbourne summer is arriving quickly, daylight savings and warmer weather provides a great opportunity to park on surrounding streets and enjoy an afternoon walk down to Twisters!During our daytime Tiny Tornadoes classes, parents are welcome to park in the undercroft car spots. We really appreciate your cooperation.
iClassPro App Reminder
We have a wonderful, easy to use app for parents! The iClass Pro app allows parents to book in make-up classes, mark their child absent, request to transfer their class and book into holiday programs. This becomes extra handy when Progress Checks are in progress.
If you haven’t already, you can download the iClassPro App from your app store and get started right away!
👉 Make sure you search for exactly that – ‘the iClassPro app’.
👉 Then, and this is very important, ensure you put in the correct organisation name, which is ‘twistersgym’ – all lower case and no spaces. You’ll know you’re in the right place because the landing page is purple (if the landing page is red, you’re trying to get into the Canadian Twisters).
👉 Lastly, you just need to enter your Parent Portal credentials and you’re set!
Important Dates
👉 November 5th | Melbourne Cup Day, all venues and our office closed
👉 November 11th-24th | Progress Checks
👉 November 1st | Monthly membership fees will be processed
* If you ever need to check important dates to pop into your calendar or to plan accordingly, you can find those on our website, here.

Gymnast of the Month
Congratulations to our Gymnasts of the Month!

Northcote GoM | Clara
Here is why Coach Hanna nominated Clara…
I nominated Clara for Gymnast of the Month because of her consistently good spirits and approach to new ninja skills. Clara is an excellent listener who is super engaged and interested in learning new things. She takes corrections on super well and is very focused and motivated. I have seen her progress enormously as a ninja through my time coaching her. Clara welcomes fellow ninjas in her class, guides other ninjas who need help understanding activities, and teaches them corrections that she has taken on herself. Thank you for being such a joy to coach Clara, keep doing what you are doing!

She has an incredible amount of determination and perseverance to achieve her goals, land skills, and make corrections. Mila creates a positive atmosphere in the gym that benefits the entire class.
