Secure your spot for 2025!
An important reminder that current members received an email on the 1st of this month providing all information to prepare your child’s enrolment for next year. If your child has an active enrolment with us, they will have been allocated a spot in the most suitable class for their continued progressions in 2025.
This is a reminder for you to check your class allocation by logging into the Parent Portal, and to make changes to your booking if required by transferring the enrolment or contacting us for some support.
Classes will reopen to waitlists and the general public for 2025 bookings from the 2nd of December.
Calling all Twisters Ninjas!
All current NinjaGym students are invited to participate in our end of year Ninja Showcase. Our Showcase will be a fun, exciting and intensive event which invites families to observe the amazing talent of our Ninjas. It also gives Ninja’s an opportunity to show off the skills that they have worked so hard to learn this year.
Details about our NinjaGym Showcase are as follows:
👉 The event will be held at Northcote Twisters, Sunday 8th of December from 5:00pm-6:30pm
👉 Open to NinjaGym students across all three facilities
👉 Entry fee $40 per ninja
👉 Families are welcome to this event, however we kindly advise a 3 guest limit per Ninja.
The event will include warrior courses, challenges, skills showcase and awards!
This is your final week to sign up! In order to enrol, please fill out our google form and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to email Hannah at ninja@twistersgym.com.au.
Northcote Parking
Our undercroft is a drop off/pick up zone only, if you intend to stay for longer than 5-minutes we kindly ask that you find a spot for your car in one of our parallel parks, or park on Beavers Road/surrounding streets. Melbourne summer is upon us early, daylight savings and warmer weather provides a great opportunity to park on surrounding streets and enjoy an afternoon walk down to Twisters! During our daytime Tiny Tornadoes classes, parents are welcome to park in the undercroft car spots. We really appreciate your cooperation.
That’s A Wrap!
Congratulations to all of our gymnasts and ninjas for completing our end-of-year Progress Checks over the previous fortnight!
If your child has completed their skill level during this round of Progress Checks, what happens next is simple: you will receive an automated evaluation email from our system listing the achieved skills and a certificate that you’re able to download and print if you wish to. This will be sent after our makeup progress check fortnight.
We missed progress checks, now what?
We have a few makeup progress check dates scheduled during this week and next. Sessions are first-come, first-serve. To book yourself into a makeup session:
👉 Login to your Parent Portal account.
👉 Go to Bookings, Find a class, then select your student, filter classes by program makeup progress checks.
👉 Select your preferred day and time, ensure it is suitable for your child. For example, ninja testing for your child who does NinjaGym and follow the prompts.
Why has my child only passed a few skills?
If your child was away for both of our progress check weeks, unfortunately, they will have missed out on some of their progress checks. Don’t worry! Your child can attend our next progress check sessions or you can book into a makeup session during this week and next.
How long will it take for my child to pass their skill level?
During each progress check period, kids are working towards approximately half of their colour level skills. For beginners, we expect that it will take kids a year to complete the skill level. For intermediate a year, to a year and a half. For advanced, we expect it to take a year and a half to two years to accomplish all skills on their poster.

She is a pleasure to have in class and is always enthusiastic in volunteering to help coaches or classmates, whether it be fetching equipment or demonstrating a skill.
