Welcome to 2025!
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, Twisters is back in action and so happy to see you in class again! Showgrounds returned on January 6th, Torquay and Northcote returned to classes on January 13th. A friendly reminder that at the beginning of a new year we like to provide some time for students to get acquainted with their new classmates, coaches, and new schedule. You may feel your child isn’t being challenged during this first fortnight, however please keep in mind we pull our progressions right back to ensure students have time to settle into routine, and that any new students can learn the basics and landing safety. It is important that students have an appropriate amount of time to get their bodies used to moving for gymnastics again!
Teeny Tiny Tornadoes returns this week, and welcomes Torquay!

Please follow our How To steps here to update your details if necessary.
Northcote parking reminder
New year, same parking requirements! Our undercroft is a drop off/pick up zone only, if you intend to stay for longer than 5-minutes we kindly ask that you find a spot for your car in one of our parallel parks, or park on Beavers Road/surrounding streets. Melbourne summer is arriving quickly, daylight savings and warmer weather provides a great opportunity to park on surrounding streets and enjoy an afternoon walk down to Twisters!During our daytime Tiny Tornadoes classes, parents are welcome to park in the undercroft car spots. We really appreciate your cooperation.

Gymnast of the Month
Congratulations to our Gymnasts of the Month!

Northcote GoM | Onyu
Here is why Coach Phoebe, Finn, Hanano, Kiana and Myrina voted for Onyu…
We have decided to give Onyu Gymnast of the Month because of her incredible commitment to gymnastics and lovely presence in class. Onyu is always friendly and works so hard to achieve the skills she puts her mind to. Onyu demonstrates our core value of dedication to go beyond by coming to multiple classes a week! Every coach that she has worked with has had a blast coaching her. It’s been so much fun having her in classes, good job Onyu!

Remi is a superstar and an absolute pleasure to coach and be around! She brings energy to every class, has a contagious laugh and sense of humour, and can lift everyone’s mood with her joyful, bubbly personality! She recently made the big transition from Tinies to Badge and Stars and is absolutely thriving and showing us all how it should be done. From being afraid of heights, to conquering the big beam, and now loving the high bar, Remi is willing to give everything a go. She really embodies our core value to ‘be curious, be brave’ by trying new skills, it has been incredible to see her confidence and trust in herself constantly grow. Big congratulations to Remi, keep up the beautiful work, I can’t wait to see what other amazing things you can do!
